We offer you two ways to become a member of Tim’s Wine Market and you can sign up for both if you like. The first is Tim’s Wine of the Month Club in which you receive two hand selected bottles of wine, an extended story about each bottle and recipes to prepare that compliment each wine. Our second option is The Tim’s Wine Market Reserve Club , in which you receive two or three wines each quarter with a very long background story and tasting notes for each. With this club we also include an analysis of the current market, trends and vintage reports through my vast collection of industry contacts. Each month you will receive two bottles of wine, alternating each month between two reds and a red and a white. (We reserve the right to do an additional red/red month from time to time but we never do more white wine.) The selections almost always follow a theme and our purpose is to spotlight wines (links to blog category spotlight wines) that fall out of the normal habits of most buyers. If you enjoy traveling, cuisine, history and a little geeky, wine speak, you will certainly enjoy a membership and there are other benefits too, See below. The Wine of the Month Club is a very reasonable $28 a month, plus tax and delivery if applicable. Due to the incredibly stringent rules from FedEx we encourage our members to pick the wine up at the store of your choosing, and we will notify you by email when your bottles are ready for pickup. The only commitment you make is for a minimum of three months, after that you can cancel any time each month up to the date of billing.
This club looks at a different category of wines, focusing on New World reds and wines in that style. Each quarter you receive two or three bottles and one is always a boutique, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest follow the same theme. The write-up for this club is extensive, with a full background of the winery and winemaker, as well as the vintage and winemaking techniques. We limit this club to 120 members company-wide because we strongly believe that if we can buy more than 10 cases of any one wine, it is not cool enough to be a selection. The club price is $149 per quarter, plus tax and applicable shipping. Like the WOM we strongly recommend picking your selections up each quarter at the store where you register. This club has no commitment but if you choose to cancel you must do so before billing each quarter.
